About The Project
We undertook this remarkable conservation effort by relocating 6,000 weir stones into carefully designed patterns of elevating circles. While also modifying the existing dam to create proper water flow for fish stone paths to achieve the desired fish passage conditions. This initiative was aimed at creating an environment that allows fish to access the upper river for their essential breeding process. By strategically placing these stones, we’ve not only facilitated their journey but also contributed to the preservation of aquatic life and the health of our ecosystem.
